NLAC Shots Back at 60%
“There’s a time for everything…A time to sleep and a time to wake up …” After two consecutive years of failed attempts to land passer, Northern Luzon Adventist College has finally awakened from its sleep with 3 new Certified Public Accountants, as can be seen in the Professional Regulation Commissions list of successful examinees released May 25, 2010.
Gee Ann Manongdo Maningding & Jacob Capuyan Solano, both of Pangasinan, and Wilbert Dapuyen Agsiweng of Ilocos Sur, are among the 4,774 hopefuls who successfully hurdled the exams given by the PRC on May 16, 17, 23, & 24 in various testing centers nationwide including Manila & Baguio.
There are 1,886 examinees who passed the exams setting the national passing rate at 39.5%.
NLAC, on the other hand, hacked out a 3-out-of-5 performance, making its best rate ever at 60%.
In May 2007, NLAC made it 2-out-of-4 making this years performance 10% higher than its previous best.
NLAC Best in Town
NLAC also stamped its class as one of the best accountancy schools in Pangasinan, being second to the Kingfisher School of Business & Finance who had a 100% output (2-of-2).
Other Pangasinan accountancy schools who made it to the cut are: University of Pangasinan (13/45 or 29%); Colegio de Dagupan (4/13 or 31%); & University of Luzon (11/79 or 14%).
