The Clean and Green drive in Sison commenced with a simultaneous tree planting activity in barangay Bulaoen West, Pinmilapil, and Pindangan on July 19, 2010. The activity is led by Mayor Mina Joy C. Pangasinan in an aim to protect the riverbanks from continues denudation that constantly threaten nearby houses and farmlands.

Municipal employees, barangay officials, Non-Government Organizations, and the Sison PNP took part in the activity. Planted materials were selections of hardwood trees and bamboos.
