Functional Statement:
Exercise general supervision & control over all programs, projects, services & activities of the Municipal government;
Enforce all laws & ordinances relative to the governance of the Municipality & in the exercise of the appropriate corporate powers; implement all approved policies, programs, projects, services & activities of the Municipality
Initiate & maximize the generations of resources & revenues & apply the same to the implementation of development plans, programs,objectives & priorities as provided for under Section 18 of the Local Government Code particularly those resources & revenues programmed for agro-industrial development & countryside growth & progress
Ensure the delivery of basic services & the provisions of adequate facilities as provided for under Section 17 of the Local Government Code

Approve Ordinance & pass Resolutions necessary for an efficient & effective Municipal Government & which will ensure the effective delivery of basic services & facilities to the public

This office maintains and updates the socio-economic profile, annual reports, municipal plans including various types of maps of the municipality. These data are collected on a yearly basis from various office that are generators of primary data. Once organized, processed and analyzed, these data form part of the essential baseline data for planning and programming of government offices, academe, business sectors and those who undertake various type of research works.
Formulate integrated economic, social, physical, comprehensive plans and others developments plans and policies for consideration of the local government development council.

This office is responsible for the implementation of Republic Act 3753 or the Civil Registry Law which mandates the establishment of a civil register in the Philippines where vital acts and events (birth, marriage, death), court decrees (adoption, annulment, correction of entries, etc) and legal instruments (legitimation, acknowledgement, R. A. 9255, R.A. 9858, R.A. 9048, R.A 10172) that affect the civil status of an individual and shall be properly recorded.
